Start with the hiring objective rather than a long list of search keywords. Give Speiros the evidence that would make someone a credible candidate and explain which requirements are essential.
Before you start
For LinkedIn searches, you need a healthy connected LinkedIn account with the appropriate product access. Open the relevant role if you intend to prepare a recruiting mission.
Start the conversation
- Select Start recruiting.
- In Choose a role, select an open role and Start recruiting. Use Create a role if the hiring need is not ready yet. Explore without a role is useful for initial exploration, but does not satisfy the open-role requirement for preparing a mission.
- In Recruiting conversation, describe your objective, essential criteria, useful alternatives, and exclusions. Supply a native LinkedIn search URL if you already have the search you want to use.
- Ask Speiros to explain why each proposed person fits and which facts remain uncertain.
- Refine the search from the evidence. For example: “Prioritize people who have operated PostgreSQL in production. A title alone is insufficient; show the supporting experience. Remote within France is acceptable.”
- Use Show details when you want to inspect the conversation's recruiting details alongside it.
Review the result
A search sample is a set of candidates to inspect, not a guaranteed exhaustive import or an authorization to contact everyone. Check profiles and supporting evidence before asking for an import or a shortlist.
Importing candidates and preparing a mission are subsequent decisions. Ask for the people and destination you intend to retain; confirm any approval request with its exact scope.
If the search stalls or misses the objective
Check the connected product first. If a specific LinkedIn product is unavailable, change the connection or choose a search that product supports. Explain why the sample is unsuitable so Speiros can refine the criteria. Avoid treating missing evidence as proof of suitability.
