Do not contact is a candidate restriction across channels and Recruiting missions. It differs from closing a reply item, holding LinkedIn, or revoking one Mission’s channel permission.
Before you begin
You need workspace operator access and the correct candidate record. Confirm the person’s identity before changing contact restrictions.
Stop further outreach
- Open the candidate’s detail from Candidates.
- Check the current contact state and choose Mark Do not contact when contact must stop.
- Verify the resulting Do not contact state. You can inspect the workspace registry in Settings → Do not contact.
A conversation in Needs you also offers Ne plus contacter (Do not contact). Ne pas répondre (Do not reply) closes the conversation item without making that same global contact decision.
Undo a global restriction
Use Undo only when the candidate may be contacted again.
- Open Settings → Do not contact and find the candidate.
- Click Undo and read Allow future outreach…?.
- Confirm Undo Do Not Contact.
- Check the updated candidate state and any remaining channel-specific opt-outs.
The candidate detail can also offer Undo Do Not Contact. Undo removes the global restriction only. It preserves channel-specific opt-outs and outreach history. It does not re-arm canceled tasks, enrollments, or Missions, and it does not itself send a message.
If the registry is stale
Use Retry. Undo is disabled while the registry is stale so that you do not act on an unverified state. A load failure is not evidence that no candidate is blocked.
