These concepts describe different decisions in the recruiting workflow. Keeping them separate helps you understand what is prepared and what you have authorized.
| Concept | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Role | The hiring need and its context. An open role can anchor a recruiting search and mission. |
| Candidate | A person saved in your workspace for review or recruiting work. Saving them does not authorize outreach. |
| List | A named group of candidates. A static list records specific people; a personal view records how you display and filter candidates. |
| Recruiting mission | Work around a role, selected candidates, objectives, and authorized controls. |
| Mission cohort | The exact people confirmed for a mission. A proposed cohort awaits your selection decision. |
| Sender | An account representing your hiring team. Its connection, readiness, schedule, and mission permissions affect what it can do. |
| Sequence | The ordered plan of actions for one candidate in a mission. It can be a draft, awaiting approval, scheduled, or completed. |
| Recruiting context | Reviewed information about your company, roles, and hiring process that helps Speiros reason about the work. |
Lists, views, and selected candidates
A personal view saves filters and columns. A list groups saved candidates. A mission cohort records the people included in a specific mission. Changing one does not mean the others changed too.
Review and confirm the proposed candidates after the mission is prepared. Confirmation permits research and planning; sequence approval is a later decision about outreach.
Preparation, permission, and proof
A draft is being prepared. Approval commits authorization. Scheduled work has a planned time or eligibility condition. Provider-confirmed evidence shows an external action happened.
An account can be connected while sending is paused. A sequence can be approved while waiting for a schedule or capacity. Read States and evidence before interpreting a delay as failure.
Replies and Do not contact
A reply stops the current sequence and returns the conversation for review. A response uses the actual receiving account and conversation. Do not contact stops outreach across channels and missions; choosing not to answer one message has a different effect.
