Connect tools for conversations

Make external context and tools available to Speiros through authorized connectors.

The Eve tools section connects services Speiros can use during conversations. A connector being listed or saved does not prove that authorization or an external action succeeded.

Before you start

Have the provider account and permission to grant access. For a custom connector, obtain its MCP server URL and authentication requirements from the provider.

Connect a listed tool

  1. Open Settings → Integrations and find Eve tools.
  2. Find the service, read its description, and choose its connection control.
  3. Review the connector settings and Provider setup details if needed, then choose Connect.
  4. When an OAuth connector is first used by Eve, complete the requested sign-in and authorization.
  5. Check the connector state. Ready to connect describes an available option, rather than an established connection.

Services listed here include Apollo, Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, Linear, Airtable, Intercom, PostHog, and GitHub. Access remains limited to the connection and permissions actually granted.

Add a custom connector

Choose Add custom connector, enter Name, choose Authentication (No authentication (public) or OAuth), and enter MCP server URL. The URL must use HTTP(S), be publicly reachable, and contain no credentials. Choose Connect and check the result.

Public connectors are discovered immediately; OAuth connectors request sign-in when Eve first uses them. Saving a URL does not establish access to private data.

Recover or disconnect

Read a connector's status and displayed error. Use Refresh for a listed connector when offered, and complete any requested authorization. If discovery or authorization keeps failing, check the provider's setup details or contact Support.

Disconnect removes the connector and its saved access grants from Speiros. You may also need to revoke access in the provider's own settings.

These tools give Speiros access to other services. Authorizing an external AI agent to act inside Speiros is a separate workflow in Settings → Developers.

Next, start a candidate search and state what context you want Speiros to use.
